About the class

If you’ve always wanted to try yoga but you didn’t know where to start, or felt overwhelmed at the thought of going to your first class, then this class is perfect for you!

You will learn the basics of yoga, from foundational poses & breathing techniques, to meditation & the philosophy of yoga.

We will work on improving flexibility, mobility, strength & balance. Modifications for poses will be provided so you can take the class at your own pace.

hi! I’m Jess. I’m a 250HR yoga teacher registered with Yoga Alliance. I have completed a teacher training in the styles of vinyasa & yin.

I like to get creative with transitions & sequences on the mat, & like to weave the philosophy of yoga as well as pranayama (breath work) into my classes.

My teaching style is challenging but also accessible, & I will push you to explore your practice in a joyful & engaging way. My classes are uplifting & I strive to offer a supportive & empowering atmosphere.
